They have more than enough cash to keep these servers up and running---especially since most of them are low traffic and rarely need maintaining. Sure, nothing lasts forever--but its not like it hurting them to keep them up.

We're already DL'ing quality games over XBL and PSN--- so while streaming games may not take over, it will become as common as streaming video content today.
